Typical water main pipe laid is either ductile iron, C-900, or DR-11.  Like our storm and sanitary crews, our water main crews have been together for many years.  

Our crews are very knowledgeable regarding working with the different municipalities, understanding the requirements for pre-construction meetings with those municipalities, installing pipe/valves/fittings/etc according to the municipalities’ specifications, and then closing out the water main installation process with the required as-built drawing & testing requirements.

This level of experience from our water main crews reduces the project owner’s needs for involvement during the installation process, thus streamlining the overall project.
